CADETS ANNOUNCE 2021 SCHEDULE
This summer, The Cadets will appear alongside four other East-Coast-based drum corps in a series of six events during DCI’s 2021 “Celebration Tour.” These four exciting shows will span the first two weeks of August and will feature The Cadets, Bluecoats, Boston Crusaders, Spirit of Atlanta and Music City. The events will lead up to a larger, three-day showcase of corps in Indianapolis August 12-14.
In conjunction with this announcement, The Cadets have released a full, tentative schedule which includes the corps’ summer rehearsals, clinics, and other performances (see below). All 2021 events have been carefully and thoughtfully planned with ongoing guidance from The Cadets’ Health & Wellness Committee, a group of Cadets Alumni and medical professionals who meet regularly to review CDC guidelines and strategize about how to create a safe drum corps experience this year.
“We are thrilled to present The Cadets in 2021. Our members and staff are buzzing with excitement about our 2021 production and the corps’ upcoming return to in-person rehearsals. However, our utmost priority remains the safety of our members, staff and volunteers. We will continue to monitor the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic as it relates to this tentative schedule of events, and we will make changes if we feel their safety could be compromised in any way,” said Denise Bonfiglio, Director of The Cadets.
The Cadets are proud to join DCI and their fellow corps in bringing music and pageantry back to the field this summer. The following schedule is subject to change. Please stay tuned for any updates as the summer approaches.
